Pixfizz has launched a Print on Demand Catalog that lets photo labs sell more than 100 products from six leading U.S. print partners. Orders are placed on Pixfizz customer sites, produced at the partner facility, and shipped straight to the lab’s customer, under the lab’s brand. The catalog is live for Pixfizz clients now, inside their myPixfizz admin, covering:

  • Wall decor, including metal prints, glass and photo tiles
  • Signs & displays
  • Gifts
  • Marketing & business print
  • Pet products
  • Photo books
  • Calendars
  • Photo prints
  • Badges & stamps
  • Awards
  • Stickers
  • Cards & stationery
  • Ornaments
  • Apparel

Six U.S. partners produce and ship every order in the catalog. More products are on the way, including a larger LA Cameras range.

Partner Products in catalog Ready pack
Navitor 66 Pet Studio
PRNTMSTR 14 Calendar Studio, B2B Suite (coming soon)
LA Cameras 14 —
Tracer TilePix 4 TilePix Wall Studio
Marathon Press 3 Photo Book Studio
Vivid Metal Prints 1 Vivid Wall Studio

Retailers can add a new product to its site in four steps, without ordering stock or printing a sample.

  1. Choose products. The lab browses the catalog in its Pixfizz admin and sees its cost for every product.
  2. Set the margin. The lab decides its own retail price.
  3. Publish. The products go live on the lab’s own website, with the Pixfizz design tools for customers to personalize them.
  4. Partners print and ship. Each order goes automatically to the right print partner, who produces it and ships it to the customer under the lab’s brand.

Labs see their cost next to a suggested retail price for every product. For most partners there is no new supplier account to open, and orders ship straight to the customer or to the lab for in-store pickup.

Ready packs

Ready packs install a complete customer experience on a lab’s Pixfizz website in one step: The products, prices, a landing page, the design studio, and a collection and menu entry. Pixfizz sets each pack up after the lab picks its prices and shipping in a short wizard.

Pack What customers do Printed by
TilePix Wall Studio Design a whole wall with their own photos: 8 x 8 framed tiles, glass in four sizes and skateboard decks. They pick a room scene and wall colour, move and crop each piece, and download a hanging guide PDF. The whole wall goes into the cart as one item and can be edited later. A business version shows lobby and reception scenes and defaults to glass. Tracer TilePix
Photo Book Studio Build a full book from their photos: 14 books in hardcover (5 sizes), softcover (6) and layflat (3), with 16 cover designs. Linen hardcover is coming soon. Marathon Press
Calendar Studio Make 11 x 8.5 wall or 5 x 7 desk calendars with 1, 2 or 4 photos a month. Photos can sort by date taken; holidays fill in automatically; customers add notes and preview the calendar on a wall. Desk calendars come on a wood block, a clipboard or as a refill. PRNTMSTR
Pet Studio Personalize bandanas in four sizes, dog and cat bowls, collars and tags with one of 20 breeds, a pattern or a photo, plus the pet’s name. Navitor
Vivid Wall Studio Choose from 88 metal print sizes, up to 96 x 48 in, with live finish previews, plus statement pieces, splits and clusters shown on a room view. Vivid Metal Prints

More studios are on the way, including business print and gifting. Labs that print their own calendars or photo books will also be able to use these studios with their own products.
